De nog bestaande botanische tuinen van Bogor (Indonesisch: Kebun Raya Bogor) ligt 60 kilometer ten zuiden van de hoofdstad Jakarta. De tuinen werden officieel op mei 18, 1817 als s lands plantentuin nationale ("botanische tuin") geopend en gebruikt voor het beheer van onderzoek en de ontwikkeling van planten en zaden uit andere delen van de Indonesische archipel voor teelt in de 19e eeuw.
